Vitacost Promotions
Vitacost was a promotion-driven company that ran multiple campaigns each week. Some focused on a specific product category or brand, while others extended across several categories. Each asset highlighted an offer, message, or featured brand and incorporated either product photography or relevant lifestyle imagery.
The work below highlights how promotional concepts were adapted across different areas of the website. I curated these examples to showcase the variety of styles, brand treatments, and creative directions I explored throughout the years.
Vitacost’s highest-priority promotions were featured in the homepage hero position. Each banner followed the company’s established visual identity and incorporated either custom flat-lay product photography or lifestyle imagery. When Sport Certified occupied the hero space, the banner reflected its distinct brand style.

Smaller, more flexible banners appeared throughout the website to support the primary promotions featured on the homepage. They also provided visibility for secondary offers that did not require homepage placement.

This approach evolved alongside Vitacost’s broader brand transformation and helped shape the final visual identity shown above and in the Vitacost Brand Evolution section of my portfolio. Each promotion featured imagery selected to complement its subject, while consistent layout and styling guidelines created a more cohesive marketing presence.

Before Vitacost developed a unified brand system, every promotion became an opportunity to create a distinct visual identity inspired by its theme. I combined individual product images from the website into custom compositions, then integrated them with stock photography to create engaging, story-driven campaign artwork.
